Job Summary: 

Responsible for day-to-day operations & development of the urgent care center creating a great healthcare experience for our patients. Develops site operationally, builds patient volume, networks with local medical practices and businesses. Develops occupational medicine program. Develops, coordinates and supervises operation and duties of administrative and clerical staff.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assure office is open and appropriately staffed during regularly scheduled hours and special events and that all facilities and equipment are available, operational, safe, and clean.
  • Develop onboarding process for all staff.
  • Interview, select, train, supervise, evaluate and monitor quality and production levels of site staff.
  • Develop monthly staff schedule, review, approve and provide input to payroll calculation.
  • Assure cash drawer is balanced. Prepare and make daily bank deposit.
  • Assure staff is adequately trained and equipped to perform their jobs.
  • Communicate and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Address performance and disciplinary issues.
  • Monitor supply inventories, research best price and order all supplies.
  • Interact with customers, review customer feedback, and address customer service issues.
  • Identify community marketing opportunities and engage staff in grassroots marketing.

Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist will operate computerized and manual radiological equipment for diagnostic purposes. Also provides administrative/front desk tasks when not performing Radiologic Technologist duties.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures following established procedures for patient care and safety.
  • Protect patients, yourself, and staff from radiation exposure by practicing sound procedures which meet or exceed recommended industry standards.
  • Develop and process radiological film.
  • Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by healthcare practitioner. Maintain a repeat rate of two percent or less.
  • Manage quarterly state compliance logbooks and paperwork as required.
  • Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Report immediately any equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
  • Log completed radiological procedures. Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Identify and file reports as required.
  • Maintain X-ray room, stock necessary radiological supplies.
  • Request, retrieve and track files to and from other departments or centers.
  • Greet patient and visitors; direct all people to the appropriate location and services; be courteous, polite, and helpful to patient and visitors at all times.
  • Respect and maintain privacy and dignity of patients; assure patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Provide efficient and professional telephone services; take complete and accurate messages; inform callers if the wait is longer than expected.
  • Register patients accurately and according to company protocols.

Qualifications

  • Current Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist from an accredited, state-approved program (must be current in the state where employee is working)
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification

  • Willingness to attend continuing medical education courses at the request of the employer.
